Dull, anonymous day today. One of those days that could have belonged to any 28 year-old anywhere in the country. I try not to have too many of those days, because they chip away at my feelings of elitism and general bad-assness, without which I am nothing but a floundering introvert with an inconsistent fashion sense.
Seriously though, in the the past 24 hours I:
Watched the final episode of Friends
Held strategy meeting with husband regarding our impending home purchase adventure, including such issues as: third-vehicle purchase, the logistics of (his) returning to school, and the (potential) impact of putting an infant into daycare
Telecommuted to 'work'
Paid credit card bills online
Went out to run errands (including a trip to the Mall) such as smogging and registering the car, and purchasing various essential (socks), frivolous (venti caramel Frappuccino, Last Samurai DVD), and intermediate (electric griddle, Clinique, new watch band) items.
Spent half an hour at Macy's poking and prodding the 'women's professional' clothing
Scheduled free makeover for next Monday at the Clinique counter
If it weren't for the Star Trek and computer games sprinkled throughout, one might forget that I am a geek. Oh, and the blogging--we must never forget the blogging. And D&D tonight. And the D&D figure painting. And Van Helsing tomorrow...
