    Making this web page has made me appreciate why people become web designers--why they bother to learn all the crap they need to learn.  I have all these ideas for things I want to do here, but I don't know how to do them.  Frustrating.

    I have this problem, where my brain decides that something I am doing is no longer worthwhile.  It comes to this conclusion completely on its own, and from that point on I have to exert twice as much energy to do the things I have to do.  When this happens, I spend a lot of time staring at the internet, tweaking pictures in PhotoShop, doing laundry, and (as Shorn and Rita like to point out) whining.  I suppose that is what I am doing now.  Sigh.  I will stop.  Whining is so unattractive.
